Cool place to chill and have dinner inside or outside dining. Plenty of beer choices and don’t forget to look up at the beer taps! Sea food is pretty good for a sports bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would go back. Just my opinion, you’ll have to be the best judge. Please like if this review helps you decide what to do. Enjoy.

Sports bar with cool Chicago memorabilia on the walls. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fantastic drink list with lots of beer and cocktail options. Huge fan of all the seafood options! Oysters, lobster roll, fried shrimp, they’ve got a great variety. Service was great and very friendly. Don’t feel too bad for Poor Phil!
Fun bar and restaurant. Our appetizer was crunchy, tender and full of flavor. The draws from tap were extensive and rewarding. Lively place for locals and visitors. Friendly staff, good service, plenty of seating and decent prices.
The best Cod fish sandwich ever!! Must try the lobster roll as well it's delicious! Oyster were tasty and cold perfect with my light German ale beer. Plenty of indoor and out door seating. Kid friendly and over a hundred beers to taste. Great for any event... quick courteous customer service from the bar to the servers.
Harrison and Jordan are simply great bartenders! They encounter all sorts that walk, crawl or slither their way into the bar and somehow find a way to cater to the needs of everyone. Without any doubt, this is a classic watering hole with a strong menu. Fun for all!
Love me some Poor Phil's located at the side end of the Carlton Hotel. This restaurant is big and spacious with outdoor seating where they are dog friendly. I didn't get the Lobster rolls this time but that's one of my menu selections. The cheese fish sandwich and sweet potatoes will melt in your mouth. Full sea food menu where you can get your oysters fix. Full bar with several drink specials and beers on tap.
Great drink selection and food options. Can’t go wrong with any of their apps or burgers. Only complaint is that sometimes they won’t put on the sound for big games … which is weird for a sports bar? But foo/drinks/service are awesome
My favorite local joint, by far. A terrific date spot, late-night spot, sports bar, and neighborhood place to grab a beer. Lovely aesthetic inside and a patio overlooking the scenic Marion Street. I don't even care for seafood, but my guests have always had high remarks for it. I'm into the other food and the drink selection. The service is top shelf, as well. Really love this spot.
One of the best gems of Oak Park. Haven’t been in a while. My husband and I came in for date night and still executes so well. Harrison the bartender remembered us right away. Still so hospitable as is all the staff. Food is still delicious. Atmosphere is still a great vibe! Rosemary’s Baby is still good and strong! Glad we chose to come here!
